SNQC1010 Vehicle Drive Over Testing Equipment is professionally designed to evaluate the damage resistance of electric vehicle connectors and plugs when driven over by vehicles. It fully complies with IEC 62196-1:2022 Clause 33 and UL 2594:2016 Clause 58 test requirements, providing reliable and repeatable test data for EV charging accessories safety certification and quality verification.
The machine simulates real vehicle tire rolling conditions with a standard P225/75R15 tire, adjustable crushing force, precise speed control and simulated concrete floor. It is widely used in testing laboratories, certification bodies (such as Intertek), EV connector manufacturers and automotive parts quality inspection institutions.

The test places the accessory (wired with the minimum recommended cable size) on a concrete floor in any normal resting position. A conventional automotive tire (P225/75R15 or equivalent) mounted on a steel rim, inflated to the specified pressure, rolls over the connector or plug at a controlled speed. The crushing force is applied in different directions for each sample. The accessory is held or blocked in a fixed position to prevent substantial movement during the test. The force is never applied to projecting pins.

Drive over method |
It is driven by a linear motor module to simulate the forward and backward reciprocating motion of rolling tires. This simulates the damage caused by accidental crushing of the charging nozzle head of the charging pile when the car is moving forward or reversing in reality. |

Key features
1.Protective cover on the chassis ensures operator safety. The bottom includes shock-absorbing foot pads and pulleys for easy installation and disassembly. A heavy-duty slide rail guides the roller set. A high-power motor with turbine reducer drives the spindle rotation for precise crushing speed. A specimen fixing sliding device with a fixture meets standard requirements.
2.Drive-over pressure adjustment uses an upper and lower adjustable structure. The total test weight includes the tire, sliding frames, and counterweights.
3.Forward and reverse rolling – The motor drives the tire to roll forward and backward while the specimen remains stationary. This realistically simulates a vehicle running over the connector in both directions.
4.Independent control system – PLC intelligent control with a 7-inch color touchscreen interface. The bottom includes mounting holes and cable openings for easy fixing and connection.
